Immerse yourself in the forefront of coastal science research, education and engagement Nov. 19-20 at the Bays and Bayous Symposium at the Mississippi Coast Convention Center, 2350 Beach Boulevard, in Biloxi. During this two-day event, leading scientists, educators and coastal experts will converge to explore, share and learn about the unique ecosystems of the Gulf of Mexico.

The symposium, which began in 1979 as "Alabama's Bays, Bayous, and Beaches Symposium," has evolved over the years. It encompasses a broader scope, emphasizing the economic importance of coastal waters, education programs, and habitat restoration. Today, it stands as a biennial gathering that rotates between Biloxi, Mississippi, and Mobile, Alabama.
